My life in a few short sentences

It is such fun reading all of the posts here. This isn't something I do much, so here goes. My bio in a few short concise sentences.

After graduation, marriage to Dave Shannon gave me a very large extended family. We moved into the big farmhouse on the hill where Dave's family had lived and once two children were both in school, I went to nursing school, graduating in 1979. The funny thing is, when my good friend Gig became a nurse I wondered about her choice. I'm retired now, but Gig I know why you do it.
When our children started college, Dave and I moved out west for a few years courtesy of GE, but are back now living in Harborcreek once again. We are down the road from that old farmhouse, in Nancy May's childhood home. Only another Erie person can appreciate how we refer to places out here in good old Harborcreek. So, in a nut shell, that's it and I'll keep reading and posting if you all will too.
